Who is responsible: Ciara Lynch, trading as Life Hypnotherapy, is responsible for personal information used to handle website enquiries and consultation bookings. Contact admin@ciaralouise.life.

What this notice covers

This notice covers browsing, enquiries and arranging consultations. It does not describe the separate handling of clinical assessment or therapy records. Please do not include sensitive health information in a booking form.

Information and purposes: We use contact details you provide, appointment dates and correspondence to respond to you, arrange consultations and manage changes. You do not have to enquire or book, but a name and contact email are needed to arrange a consultation. Wix and service providers may process technical information such as IP address, device and cookie data to operate and secure their services.

Lawful basis

We use information necessary to take steps at your request before providing a service, or to fulfil that service. We may also use information for legitimate interests in handling general enquiries, administering the practice and keeping services secure. Where consent is required, including for optional marketing or non-essential cookies, you may withdraw it. Booking is not consent to marketing.

Providers: Wix hosts this website. Consultation bookings are managed through Calendly, with Zoom for online appointments. Booking and meeting information is processed through the providers used for your appointment. Their privacy notices explain their own processing. Email services are also used to correspond with you. Providers may process data outside the UK; applicable transfer safeguards and details are available in their privacy information.

Retention: We keep enquiries and booking information only for as long as needed to deal with your request, manage your appointment and meet applicable legal or professional obligations. Retention depends on whether an enquiry becomes a client relationship, whether a matter remains unresolved and any recordkeeping requirements. Clinical records require separate retention arrangements.

Your choices and rights: Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact admin@ciaralouise.life. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Cookies: Cookies and similar technologies may be used by Wix and linked providers. Review available cookie choices and your browser settings. Booking and Zoom pages have their own privacy and cookie information.
